Are you also tired of story based advertising posts?

Lately I've seen a lot of such posts that start with a story/personal experience that bait your attension, and of course in the end they have a link to their 0 user startup.

I have been fooled so many times with such posts, so I built a tool (reputation.ai) which gives a reliability score of a post to classify it as a promotion. It also has a chrome extension that automatically removes the link to the product from the post via AI so that no traffic comes from baiting users into a useless product, and this trend dies out soon.

^ these sorts of posts, (there's no product here, just an example)

i get why it feels like a trick, but you're not seeing an ad, you're seeing a resume. building in public and telling a story is how founders prove they can get attention before they have a product that deserves it. they're not trying to fool you, they're trying to show future investors they can build an audience from nothing. you're not filtering out spam, you're filtering out the first page of their cv.
