90% support projects
Folks Good evening
May I know the reason why tcs & most service based firms have 90% support project?
Is it because the SOP for support projects can be renewed easily?
Because they hire so many freshers which have no business and practical knowledge and they can put in support as there is less intelligent work . On the top of it 99% freshers are from B and C grade college which can't sustain in proper development projects .

It's easy business and high return in investment compared to implementation. It makes more sense to have diversified set of multiple support projects and have business over few specific challenging implementations.
I think Business Model hi aisa hai TCS ka or you can say strategy hai support project jyada lena hai. Can support with cheap manpower like us and charge a premium to the onsite clients
