90-Days Notice Period? Don’t complain, grow up.
To anyone who thinks 90-Days notice period is a lot then you’ve to consider my post.
I’ve been a full time employee since 2010 (at the age of 18 I had my first job) and I find it really immature and dumb when people crib and complain about the 90 days notice period. I’ve done my graduation in law and let me share some light on the fact that how incorrect one can be while making such complaints, which probably would make some sense to you.
First off, a job or an opportunity is essentially meant for unemployed individuals. We all know how India is struggling with its employment rate yet we don’t realise how lucky we are to have a job to begin with and add to that, when we apply for a “job-switch” we are competing against those who don’t even have a job!
If you’re so desperate to switch, then put down your papers and in the last 30 days of your notice period, start with your job hunt. I’m sure by the end of your 30 days and depending on your talent / skillset, you would find a job and you wouldn’t have to crib / complain about 90 days waiting time.
Employees want to “wish for a cake and eat it too” which means you’re already having a job and want another one, denying someone else an opportunity too. You may not think about it however, let the unemployed ones go first, trust me if you understand this, you would realise how considerate one can be, after all, at the end of your notice period, you’d be “unemployed” too.
I can explain in legal terms as well however I don’t know if anyone pays any attention on social media if it’s not relatable at all.
