I’m currently on bench and planning to switch. If I don’t take any project and HR asks me to resign, will they pay 90 days notice period salary in advance?

Also, if I resign on my own while on bench, can HR release me within a few days (1–3 days) and still pay the 90 days notice salary?

Yes for one of my reportee he resigned and was released within 3 days with the compensation for notice period shortfall l.

So we will get 3 months of salary correct?

Yes... you will get a mail asking for your confirmation if you want to serve whole notice period or if you want to leave withing 2-3 days it's upto you if you want or not
