80,000 vacancies at TCS

I don’t buy that we’ve a skill issue problem to fill them up. It’s more like not wanting pay the right price to get good talent.

Biggest Lie.....There are N numbers of skilled people already interviewed in TCS and the biggest truth is TCS can not afford their packages as they want slaves to be slog their ass in low wedges. They need slaves not skilled people.

At what cost? by terminating their old loyal employees they are generating employment
Every one is highlighting number of the the employees hired by tcs but what about the silent layoff is going on in tcs no one talks about it

I think the core problem is that for any new project being taken up by tcs, they can never get any good qualified resource to get released from their current project. So they take in one senior resource in a tech stack and rest all are freshers or people from different tech stack clubbed into that project. Again once they are upskilled, they never get deployed to other projects, they continue in the same project, which becomes nothing to learn after a year. Finally they put in papers and go away from the company. They can never fill in this skill gap until there are fundamental changes to how project allocation works in line with employee aspirations.

Everything said by tcs is just a marketing gimmick to save their reputation and put blame on employees.
