Akshat Shrivastava, a social media influencer, highlighted that IT freshers' salaries in India haven't kept up with inflation, rising from 2.45 lakhs in 2012 to 3.55 lakhs in 2022, way lesser as compared to Western pay structures!

To address issues he proposed solutions like

  1. Pay-per-hour policies
  2. Fair college fees
  3. Discouraging unpaid internships
