7 years in TCS with no permotion and 3.5 LPA
Tomorrow ( 18-11-2025) , I will complete seven years in TCS with 3.5 LPA , it is very frustrating to work on this much Low LPA and no permotion. Every time my manager ignore by saying we will provide you permotion when the window will open .
This is just a larger organisation with so low paid labours .

Why didn’t you move?
Even if you get promotion nothing would change, it would be hardly 15-25%. Instead focus on your skillset, you can easily pivot to Data Engineering and make a solid switch.

As a former TCS employee, Im telling you problem is 100% on our side, if we aren’t switching in 2-3 years, when there is no deserving hike.
In TCS I had 4.2 LPA
Switched to a startup with 10 LPA
Switched again to a Big4 with 14 LPA
All these in span of 3 years (and still there many others with way higher pay)
