Even now some people don't appreciate how good the Vinland saga is. Whenever I recommend Vinland Saga, everyone gets bad about season 2, complains about being full of farming and there is no bloodshed or fighting.
But the Vinland saga is never about cold-blooded fights. When I saw season 2 it simply reflected that this show is about people who are trying to live a happy life in a cruel world. Main MC's father told him about true warriors and now we are seeing how a true warrior is.
I love that fact where Thorfinn realized that what he did was bad and that he never knew how to save or care for others.
I think people need to see Season 2 as the redemption ARC of Torffin.
The most powerful moment for me was when Thorfinn wanted to meet the King and he endured 100 punches without fighting back.
That scene was so powerful with immense self restraint even when you have immeasurable power.

There was an impact when Thorfinn endured for others.
Compair to other MC like naruto try to do this for sasuke it was not that impact full because somehow naruto jst became this saint jst because he wanted follow jiraya's words. (Iam not mocking naruto bt it was not as impactful as Thorfinn)
Thorfinn knews the hatred and bloodshed that he caused in his past. And it was a slow transaction as it should be because people can't change with in a day and started to forgive others
It teaches us to settle down and live a peaceful life.
