6.4 YOE | Cloud/DevOps | Switch, Market & ECTC

Hi All,

Need some advice from the community.

My career journey so far:

1st company: 3.2 years

2nd company: 1.1 years

Current (3rd) company: ~2 years

Total YOE: ~6.4 years Current CTC: 24 LPA

I’m considering a switch again and wanted to understand:

Would this be seen as job hopping by recruiters/hiring managers?

How is the current market for Cloud/DevOps roles?

What would be a realistic Expected CTC (ECTC) I should quote?

Background: I’m working as a Cloud/DevOps engineer, primarily on cloud, CI/CD, IaC, etc., and currently upskilling towards AI/ML & MLOps.

Would really appreciate insights from folks who’ve switched recently or are involved in hiring.
