
53k in hand in big 4 or Engineer in government job with 50k+ in hand ...but after 8th pay it will be almost 90k..
Hi, One of my friends who is in big 4 company.He is switching to government job saying it will be so difficult to survive in IT after 5/6 year..even he is good in coding and have a good skills.It made me scare a little bit... because he was top coder in my college and now he is going......so my question is should i also go into goverment job or stay in big MNC company as I'm now with 7lpa.

If you have the skills and can work hard and want to get equally rewarded for it then stay in mnc
If you want lazy life job security 5% increment every year then join government

For your kind information annual increment in government job is ~ 12% annual with a salary revision in every 10 year

If you are highly skilled and willing to upgrade yourself(in terms of latest technology) throught your career- then only opt for IT sector coz market is not that good what it used to be in the covid era. And if you want to follow your passion or do something else without the fear of losing your job(while already being in a Job), then go for Government ofc. 💯
