50% Basic Pay Rule: When is Accenture pulling the trigger?

Hey folks, current SSE here. My Basic Pay is only ~35% of CTC. According to the 50% wage rule, Accenture will have to restructure our components soon.

I wanted to understand the current stance on basic pay revisions. Could you please share why there hasn’t been an increase in the basic pay so far? Also, is there any expected timeline or plan for when we might see a revision?

they'll just reduce the CTC

And why will they do it ? The offer letter is a contract that they'll spend that much on the resource. They can't break that.

which rule or law stops them from doing that exactly?

If they increase to 50% your inhand salary will decrease as pf deduction will increase.

At least less tax will get deducted.
I have calculated it. If my basic pay increases, I will pay 3500(tax claim possible) more as an employee and 3500 (no tax claim)more as an employer contribution. By this, my monthly tax is getting reduced by 2000 approx. And this PF amount is anyhow in my hands only. So not a problem.
