~5 YOE, Still at 6 LPA — Growth in Skills, Not in Pay
I joined TCS ~3 years ago as a Java Developer with 1.7 years experience, taking up a 6 LPA offer — biggest Mistake of my Switching to here ( thought I'll learn and Move out easily)
Since then, I’ve worked across several solid projects, honed my skills in Java, System Design, and Microservices, and this year, even earned an ‘A’ band rating. But despite the growth and contribution, I’m still stuck at 6 LPA — no hike, no parity.
With 4.7 years of experience now, it’s disheartening when even recruiters question the pay.
I’ve put in the work. I’ve upskilled. But in today’s market, landing the right opportunity remains a challenge.
Open to connect, collaborate, or even just hear from peers navigating the same phase. 🥲🥲
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑

My suggestion is to first get prepared for interviews, then put papers without any offers, you'll get freedom to study and then give interviews to service based pool interviews as soon as you put papers, it will take atleast 1 month to complete an interview process so keep your notice period as 60 days. Getting an offer from service based companies with high np would give you a high chance to crack, once you get a 50% hike of your present salary, aim for big companies when you notice period is 45 days, go upto 14-15 realistically possible with lld, sd, java, springboot, microservices, sql you'll easily get some good companies.
This is what I've done, now I have 4 offers in my hand with 15 days notice period left.
You should come of the dark hole to see some light, you're not a loser, you're just one step away from being successful

This is a realistic solution to the NP issue

Bhai in tcs only way to increase package is wings exam either wings 1 if ur c1 or c2 wings 2 and c4 and above wings3
There is no other way
Tcs is made like that they funnel the increments to wings exam rather than yearly increments

@tyler_durden
Same here, almost same level of experience and LPA 😔

Haha iam getting only 3.25

What did recruiters question about?
