5 years experience and project released

I have 5 years in tcs and I am released from project from august month. I am in bench from august month . Looking for project ? My friends suggested me to switch ? But I have insecurity in leaving . Becoz of job security. Whenever the project over, I will be the one who released first. Eventhough I work hard and do all the work, I will not communicate much . I will be quiet in whatever rating , I would be doing all my junior work to complete Task. Is it ok to switch ?
