Trending @Cognizant; 5 months salary on resignation
I have been on the bench for the last 65+ days. Frey days back HR called me and asked to resign. He said If I go for the voluntary resignation then the company will give me 5 months salary and if I don't resign and in case they terminate me then I will get only 3 months salary and termination will reflect in my documents. I just wanted to know if they really give a 5 month salary if I resign now? If anyone knows about it please respond.

Yes they will give 5 months salary, few of my friends resigned and they got the 5 months salary at a time, Only the thing you should conform is how many days will it take to credits the salary? And is it One time?
Did you get a showcause notice for not getting hired in a different project before the HR called for this discussion? If yes then after getting showcause notice..how many days did the HR take to call you about this discussion
Yes I got an email where they asked me to justify the reason for not getting into any project within 3 days. After doing that HR called me just within 1-2 days I guess.
