Bro, don't think so extreme. I don't understand why there is a heavy hype for comparison, and constant judgement of self esteem.

I want you to think slightly differently - think about the poor people who are begging on roads, think about the people who are born with deformity, think about a child who is covered in dirt, has been roaming on road for 2 days.

Okay, now a step further, don't think, see and experience - wear some shabby clothes, I mean really shabby like torn, unwashed, etc. and just go on road without any thoughts, assume you are just a casual person on road who doesn't matter to anyone, u will notice many people working their ass off, like the pan vala is earning a margin of 2 Re on each cigerate he sell, the show polisher is earning 5 Re per shoe.

Now come back to home, take a bath and think this - You have good parents, decent money, good skills, go to the god/bhagwan/alla - whoever u beleive and say thank you, and just sit there for 20 mins, close your eyes, don't think, just exist, now in that stance think can a person really unable to survive with 10k per month? I mean, survival isn't the problem right, it's just you have been comparing constantly with some youtubers, some colleagues, etc. which isn't worth it.

Trust me no matter where u reach, u will never be satisfied, I started with 15k per month back in my day, I'm earning 16 LPa, I will feel same if I earn 60 LPa as my target will always be higher, because the more we earn, we adjust to such lifestyle.

So chillax, relax, go give you mom, dad a kiss or maybe I love you, over a phone call if you are a bit shy, and be thankful for 5 mins.

@GargantuanDiam81 Hi bro,
You mean cloud computing ?? Do I need to learn anything else or just AWS is enough?

@ShadowStriker_002 bro Your advice definately made my mind to relax. but I want to ask you one question which I am confused between. I want upskill myself and don't have much time. I am confused between tech stack should I go and learn java-springboot, or Data engineer. I am not good at DSA. Which tech stack will give job in next six months. I know java core concepts and python basics.

One more thing what is your tech stack? Yoe? How did you manage from 15k to 16lpa. I am a lone earner of my family, living on the knife edge of life. Any good guidance will be helpful. God bless you🙏

@CheeryBronchitis12 , firstly it takes lots of guys to accept our own weakness, and the best thing is you already know where u r weak in - DSA.
So now we have two options -

  1. Either to see DSA from different angle
    OR
  2. Opt for another route, I read all the comments above from you and it seems u wanna opt for this option.

Here's my suggestion -
Step by step - Take a 3-5 days leave, + u will have one weekend. Shut down your phone, TV, no friends - Only Laptop: meditate for 10-15 mins before you start and visualise how important the next 7 days is, now

  1. Open Chatgpt - simply give a prompt like
"Hi, I'm data analyst/engineer/your role - and I have x years of experience. I have forgotten most basics (OR) I wanna learn y and z, state all the resources by dividing it from basic, intermediate, advanced level which can be completed in 7 days to reach atleast an intermediate level of expertise. Don't forgrt to include any small projects"

  2. Follow and adhere to the strict timetable.

  3. Maintain 3:1 rule, remember you are not a god who can suddenly become a person who can concentrate 100% time to leaning. 3:1 means in and hour first dedicate fully first 45 mins without any distraction and make your mind reward system, that is if I do 45 mins study i will get to do xxxx - this can be singing, dancin, anime, etc. only for 15 mins. This makes your mind wanna study for next 45 mins to get the next reward.

  4. Remember motivation is temporary but perseverance is permanent. So small steps help.

Now finally on tech stack my personal suggestion from market read - see the data is everything and everywhere and market says AI is the future.
But I say AI is the present. It's already here. I would highly recommend you based on my journey to start with excel, yes sounds old and tacky right? It is, but it gives you clear picture of data mapping, structured data understanding, etc. U will grasp it in 2 hours max.
Move to SQL - requires in almost all fields now. Post excel, sql will seem easy trust me.

Now take a break, review and ask chatgpt to give you some MCQ questions to test yourself

  1. Finally move on to python language, it seems u already have basics, revise them in 1 hour. Then grasp intermediate to advanced concepts from YouTube, again hands on is required, without it u r as good as 1st year college student.

Final suggestion - remember this is like going to gym, unless you go atleast 4-5 days per week, u will lose interest + ur gains will take time to appear. So be patient, and keep a deadline like 2 months.

Still, if you are struggling, DM me, I will give u my contact number. It's definitely hard out there, but remember your competition is the people who are daily spending 4 hours on insta, 1 hour on drinking, 1 hour on girls. U just gotta beat these guys, which isn't very difficult if u r ready to sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed. Trust me not gonna be easy.

Prompt - I'm a data analyst/scientist/your role, please give me roadmap to learn x and y, divide the syllabus is basic, intermediate and advanced topics. Don't forget to include small projects.

Bro, don't think like that. As shadow striker said earlier, don't compare yourself with others.
Now to the 2nd point, what is current tech stack? And what's your YOE? If it's around 2+(or 3+even better) I would suggest you can with ServiceNow as well and I can refer you in Accenture. But if you're not interested in service based, then as Gargan said, go for cloud computing and then aws.

No bro I fine with service based companies. The problem is IT is very wide with lots of tech stack. And I am from non technical background so don't what will suite me what will not. I don't want to invest my time directionless.
