BenQ PD3205U 31.5" (80.01 cm) LCD 3840 x 2160 Pixels 4K Monitor, UHD, sRGB, Rec.709, HDR10, IPS, AQCOLOR Technology, Factory-Calibrated, Color Mode, Darkroom Mode,CAD/CAM Mode,Hotkey Puck G2,KVM,Grey https://amzn.eu/d/anQ3t63
Best thing for a multi system setup. I have my work MacBook, personal pc, ps5 and a nintendo switch all connected at once and can be switched at the click of a button.
The mac connects with one thunderbolt cable only. The most convenient setup I have seen so far

Found few red flags 🚩:
- srgb is less wider than dci p3.
- External KVM switch are cheaper and have better warranty.
- Benq is probably buying panel from LG thus expensive. Costs 50k now 😔

I wouldn't consider them red flags. The monitor that supports DCI P3 at 4K costs 80K+. If you are into editing then you will need it. If you are into coding there is actually no need for it KVM Switch that has 4 way 4k60 HZ and USB C will cost you around 6-7K and they are not that reliable Lastly, everybody including Samsung buys from LG, so really can't really do anything about it. Also the USB C comes with a 90W PD as compared to LG's 60W so you can actually charge a Mac proper.
All in all it was the KVM switch and USB C PD that differentiated this monitor for me. I didn't have a need for DCI P3 colour gamut.
PS: I am the same person but for whatever reason I can't access this post from my original account. Hope this helps
For coding, anything more than 28" will be too much of space. I've used a curved monitor in office, and a 28" one in home and I very much prefer the 28" one. On the left or on bottom I'll keep the laptop display which I use for documentation.

My personal brain context window is large, it can fit a lot of code, so screen size does not impact.

I'd suggest going with a monitor for coding purposes. Not TV.

I bought lg ur43 in this big billion sale for 26k(I don't have credit card). It's a very good tv, best picture and audio quality for the budget.

Do people u know use tv as monitor, as I am concerned about eye health, it's good to play games once in a while on tv, but daily coding?

I use Lenovo G24-20 1080p 165Hz IPS Monitor which I bought a while ago for 11K. Its 24 Inches.
Additionally I have an Lenovo 2k Monitor 27 Inches also bought a while ago.
You don't need 43 inches. Instead have a twin monitor setup it would better suit your needs.
A single 27 inch is more than enough tbh

Never buy a TV to use with a computer especially for programming. Response times are usually low in TVs compared to monitors and it will frustrate you while coding.

Look at benq monitors, sexy af. Colour quality of same level isn't there in TV .
Plus TV requires appropriate distance and configuring display setting for optimal viewing, thoda headache hai
