40LPA is just a fund for Swiggy, therapy, and physiotherapy
I’m 28, making great money at my company. But let's be real, my back is permanently wrecked, my screen time is 12+ hours a day, and by the time Saturday hits, I'm too exhausted to do anything but sleep and order Swiggy.
We grind Leetcode for months, survive the constant PIP anxiety, and endure brutal oncalls. And for what? Golden handcuffs. We literally traded our health and youth just to flex our CTCs.
What is the point of this money if we're just rotting in an ergonomic chair watching our 20s vanish? Half my in-hand goes to fixing the physical and mental damage this tech rat race causes.
Anyone else feel like this whole "dream package" thing is a giant scam?
