40k is enough to live life?

I am getting 2.20 lakh in hand salary. I am from small city. My village is near from my place and getting ration from there. I have two kids. I am getting 40k per month from my FD and other sources(getting room rent). Here living of cost is very less from tier 1 cities. I am 39 years old. Lost my parents within 2 years. I am not interested to do work anymore just doing for my kids only. Thinking to leave job. Is 40k is enough to live life nowdays?
