Trending @Accenture; 4 Years. No Promotion. No Hike. Only Excuses.

It’s honestly disappointing to say this: Four years in the same company, giving everything I had, and I still haven’t received a real promotion or meaningful hike. Every cycle comes with excuses — budget issues, next time, we tried, you’re on the top list — but nothing actually changes.

Not even the June cycle brought any hike or clarity, and now November is no different. I’ve contributed, delivered, learned, supported, and grown — but financially, this has been the worst experience of my career.

Sharing this because I’m done staying silent. Employees deserve honesty and respect, not endless false hopes.

The majority of companies offer standard appraisals within this percentage range. 🤣

You have done staying silently, That is very good. But now its your turn to silently start preparing for interview and once you got a good offer silently draft resignation mail.
Note : This should not exposed to your team. It will be a good lesson for them who not valued you values.

I totally understand how it feels even after giving your 100 percent.

But you shouldn't take it emotionally, after all it's corporate and not only you, same stories for many people.

There is no market correction for old employees too within this time span of 4 years and the company is hiring new employees with higher packages.

Time has changed, it's not like a company will stay loyal with you, if you stay loyal with the company. That's the reason people now days keep switching every 2-3 years for financial growth.

Totally, I've seen so many people I know and friends get hired at Accenture, working with the same tech as me, and even with less experience, they're making almost double than I am.

It is not your mistake if you tried applying for other opportunities but did not get any but it’s definitely your mistake if you stuck here for 4 years without trying for better opportunities. Anyway, it’s never too late. Wish you the best!

The 90-day notice period often presents a significant obstacle here. Frequently, despite our efforts to convey that the notice period is negotiable, we do not receive invitations for subsequent interview rounds. Same story with most of the colleges.

I'm gonna keep trying for better opportunities. It's high time now. Can't just wait for something good to happen here.
