4 wheelers are the cause of Bangalore traffic it seems... Literally 80% of cars are empty only.. 1 person in 5 or 7 seater cars.. 😣

Seriously I feel these guys go to office in a car just with a hope that their crush asks them to drop her home.

Unfortunately it is not like most have options. Some do who can take an ac bus but most live far from the bus stop or won't get a seat. We need to increase public transport, last mile connectivity to have people jump away from cars.

Sustainable city is another one. Have tech parks but surrounded by houses offered on rent or sale to employees. It could be subsidised rent if you work in same tech park. And could be more if you work in other tech park to encourage closer living.

Not feasible for existing tech parks but why not for new offices make it a norm and initiate projects in that direction.

Absolutely not.

The city public transportation cannot support daily commuters. Metro are jam-packed. Ride on a two wheeler and drown in pot hole. No place to park your vehicle, you have to travel between destination A->B strictly. Companies are in cluster, Thanks to bbmp and gba. In many cases there are only a single main road.

Why the fck the author thinks car is the cause. It important to understand you are the traffic. Stay out of road and there is no traffic. Blame bbmp and govt for their award winning public transport.

It's not really safe to travel in a bike with the condition of roads. It's just a matter of time you fall into a pothole and can't travel by bike anymore, even if you passionately want to.

Not exactly! Bad roads, lack of planning.. ejipura flyover is still in progress.. metro construction on ORR.. increase in population.. check the number of cars registered in Bangalore in the last 3 years, numbers aren't high as you see..
