3rd yr, non circuital, hungary for tech
I am in a decent college(NIT Allahabad), currently transitioning into 3rd year and I have a background of non-circuital branch. I chose this branch for getting into tech sector only(as Chemical Engineering of my college was a bit less hectic), from the very first of my college life I always focused on tech that's why my current cpi is also 7(which is considered moderate-low in my college). I was fortunate enough to work with two startups in my second year(1st of my college alumni and 2nd my college final year senior). Now the internship session has started in my college and I know that there will be very few companies that will allow me to sit for their OA and that too might get tough for me as of CPI. I have a decent skills in software domain either full stack development or AI field(with all production tools and methods). Now I want to do an actual internship with some well established company, can anyone recommend me some method on how can I approach for companies off campus to get summer internship or some remote role as well(not any unpaid intern).

It's high time you make use of the AI tools in the market, if you aren't doing already. Apply to companies from yc and wellfound job boards, they are mostly small startups and care more about the ability to get the work done rather than cgpa or branch. And I'd recommend finding and doing some open source work, it gives a big boost to the resume and also teaches a lot of technical stuff that would be expected in any job
