3rd year , 6th sem student panic!!!!!!!

So I'm a 3rd year (year is about to end) student I'm trying to do everything before companies visit my campus for placements (happening in July) I'm trying to do everything which is basically me doing nothing .... I started DSA with java , then someone said C++ is better , started software dev stuff then went to frontend dev (haven't done anything I know a bit of python so I thought I'd do something in AIML or DS , did full theory but now I'm exhausted and focusing only on this field might get me in trouble later coz 5 companies come for AI,ML positions and I might be taking a huge risk For refrence my CGPA is 8.0 in 5th sem , it'll be 8.2+ in 6th ..... . Pple are saying round 1 is DSA focus on that Basically I'm confused Here's what I do know - I'll be sitting for all good companies irrespective of job roles , and I don't have any skills except I can communicate well so I'd probably do something in the hr and tech interview but before rounds and the half of tech round I'll be clueless What should I do !!!??????

Focussing on AI/ML etc looks highly stupid. Focus on basics- One language (C++/Java/Python) and programs based on that language, and DB/SQL. If you get stuck in basic questions of these two, you will struck out at that very point (by good companies). DSA is of course good, but DSA is an endless thing, basic thing is, you should be able to write simple level programs. Topmost companies may of course expect you to solve complex dsa problems, but then if you have less time, you can’t do much.

You still have 1 month though, you can still solve 50-60 DSA problems.

focus on DSA for superdream companies. for ai ml i would not be the best person to answer but as far as i know, what projects you have so far really defines what knowledge you have. for ai ml projects as far as i have seen its all same old slop that already exists. focus on one language that would be your best bet. c++ would be the best imo and next best is go/java because if you demonstrate good knowlege in low level programing and system design thats a plus.
