Working on weekends is a normal thing. People work in rotational shifts...

I had similar experience with another project. They asked to work 12-10 everyday. And on top of that as the company is US based, i have to sit till 3 am on days. Then on weekends also i have to work. This is something the project manager told me. And you know what, he had no idea what my work is, what i need to do on the project. I asked him multiple times, but he said you have to maintain customer ‘s website. And also he was telling me that the work is not technical. I immediately ran away from the project.
