3 months notice period

It has been quite difficult to get an offer with 3 month notice period. Everything cleared and the end interviewer start asking about 3 months notice period and making a big issue out of it. Have you guys faced this? What do you do in such case.

@AdolfMartin bhai itna gussa kyun rehta hai? Har problem ka solution same nhi hota na? Wo pooch rha hai ki is there any way to handle this situation? Maybe he negotiate with HR or maybe TCS has any policy like pay some money or something..

Look for someone who has recently switched. I have no experience but based on all posts I have seen here, if you are on bench/unallocated than it is easy.

Lie to HR about notice period . Tell them you have 1 month notice period. Get the offer letter and resign after that keep searching for job . In one month if you didn't get job then plead to HR to extend your joining date.

U can state that am serving the notice period and once you receive the offer letter u can submit it in TCS, it will help

Oh does that work ? Like they will ask are you serving notice period... Can I tell them..yes I am...

And then once I get offer letter can I tell them: no I still need to complete my 3 months of notice period?

If you are in RMG then your notice period is only for 7 days.

The person I replaced in my project, had been in TCS for 3 years. After that, he went on a sabbatical for 2 years to complete Mtech and got placed in a startup. The TCS manager was not happy and asked him to complete the three months, even after several negotiations. But the startup CEO was very understanding and even gave a 1 month paid leave until the 3 months were over.
Switching to big legacy companies always has that red-tapeism. So I'd like you to keep on trying, preferably some startups and explain your situation hoping for the best.

Yes 3 months NP is a problem when you are looking out for a switch. You dont even get enough interview calls on seeing this. I face the same issue. So either take the risk of putting the paper and then search for job or just manipulate tell that you have 3 months NP but you can negotiate upto 1 month.
