Trending @Infosys; 3-4 months leave

Hi,

I joined infosys in Feb'22 and got allocated to project on the same day. The work load is very bad, with on call of a week every month. I have survived 2 years till now, without a single penny increment.

Recently I am getting stressed out and getting anxiety attacks. I am thinking of taking a break of 3-4 months to heal myself mentally, so that I can be stron enoght mentally to prep and search outside/ask release.

Can you guys please help me to know if there is any such option or any way to get these much leaves.

Does Sabbatical require manager and HR approval? Do they also require any dr documents..or something like that..
I will try to read on the policy.

My manager knows that i work hard . Still no increment due to infosys rules. However I am not aware how he will react when I will ask for sabbatical, as he doesn't want a resource to lose.

I got 3 months due to some major illness... I had to drop email with hospital investigations and whatnot. You can get checked with a doctor for stress and depression stuff.. Show that to your HR and manager and get the leave without pay.

My friend took leave of 1 month in the name of family emergency its leave without getting paid, but her manager was good ...its depends on your manager, sometime they might even release you from project its depend on manager... but rn situation in infy is kinda scary ...layoffs is going on , i suggest you to talk to your manager in details...it should not effect in your ratings in any way ...all the best.
