24months bond period for experienced candidate

I have 3.2 years of experience. I received an offer letter from a data analytics startup. They want me to sign a 2years bond and on breaking the bond I need to pay 2lakhs. In my current organization we have 1yr bond so I am apprehensive, is a 2 year bond period norm in the data analytics companies?

Please share pros and cons or any experience about the 2year bond period for an experienced candidate.
