20s to late 30s is best age to be in corporate. 40s to 60 is best age to be in top government jobs. Stagnation in corporate is only going to increase in coming years

Indian Govt maybe in its growth + self-aware management phase

But over the time buracrecy will increase

Government are getting weak too as years go by. Private is driving the innovation and economy on Govt scale and across geographies

And at 40 I don't think you can apply, write exams and get a permanent role.

Not really. Stagnation is in government jobs as well. Not everyone reaches sky high unless you're a civil servant.

absolutely true.. In IT, you can see almost all companies are bottom heavy. When they gain experience, where will they all fit? Now everybody cant become CEO. The only solution i can think of is designating people like banks - every one is a minimum VP.
