From 3.3 LPA to 24 LPA. Stop waiting for appraisals.
I started at 3.3 LPA in a generic mass recruiter. First 1.5 years went in doing absolute garbage support work and licking my manager's boots for a B band rating just to get a 2k increment. It was depressing.
Realized no one gives a shit about loyalty. You want money? Be ruthless. I spent every weekend grinding React, Node, and AWS. Built actual full-stack products while my roommates got drunk in Koramangala.
Jump 1: 3.3 -> 9 LPA (small product company) Jump 2: 9 -> 24 LPA (where i work now)
YOE: 4.5 Tech stack: MERN + AWS
Stop begging for that 10% hike. The system is rigged to keep you cheap. Upskill, exaggerate your bench work, and switch. Loyalty is for dogs, not devs.
