Regardless of recent layoffs, the job market is on upswing and only going to get better, once Fed's starts to lower the interests rates. Less interest rates = More risky investments = More funding for startups = More jobs.

Few indicators i feel can be used for guessing ... someone rightly mentioned campus recruitment which is bad af, attrition rate of big MNCs, TCS quarterly results indicating how IT business is doing, and sabka father FED interest rates. So looks still grim, and even if it improves focus has been changed from extravaganza to frugal spending. So startups will be spending wisely, mnc already overhired madly so still shading the fat. All of this contributes to oversupply of people in the market 😊 ( but i feel this will be a wary situation for freshers, for experienced hiring has started quite good compared to last year)

Campus is always a good indicator for 2024 markets. This year campus were terrible. Unlikely to become better before next year

Don't expect the market to improve before Q2 2025.

2021 and 2022 job market was once in a decade growth
