
Trending @Infosys; 2024 hikes given only for top management
Infosys stock price has increased 20% in last one month!!! And dividend yield is 2% on current market prices. Remember All senior staff and old time employees have got Espos at way low prices. So 2% at current market price could very well 30-40% of prices they got the infosys shares for. Who benefits the most from this. Infosys top management. JL7 and above. They are ones with infosys shares worth lakhs and crores. So they are getting their hikes both in form share price increase and dividends. The money saved by not giving hikes to junior employees is distributed back as dividend to top employees plus helping is moving stock prices up. Junior employees left with nothing.

How do you know if this is the case? I am new so don’t know any whistleblowers which I need too!

Hope you read my post carefully!! What it means is top management doesn’t need annual hikes to increase their compensation. They need to show revenue is increasing , profit margins are maintained which will automatically show increased profits. How do you maintain margins ? By not giving hikes!! (Short term thinking). Then Announce good dividends all shareholders including top management will be happy!!! There is no whistle here!!! It’s open and transparent and perfectly as per law!!!

Since you meets your targets you get more espos shares price increase. Get your hikes indirectly from dividend and share price increase !!

Since I also track the market quite closely I have noticed same is the case with other Indian firms as well. Although I feel Infy is quite badly misusing heap labor. On top of this founder says you got to work 70hr/week. Coming from a product firm, highly frustrating experience for me here so far.

You are right. But Infosys is a beacon of corporate governance and transparency!! They should report how much stocks top level employees hold. All Jl7 and above. How much they sell each year. I am frustrated by fact that management is giving vague answers. Instead of saying we have delayed hikes this year and relook in Q2 or Q3. Answer we are getting we just did comp review in November. Which itself was 2023 delayed comp review and that too for selected folks. And the whole hierarchy gives margin gyaan themselves not having to feel the impact. A higher management who. Cannot gives its employees an inflation adjusted hikes every year is not doing a great job but still the brunt is borne by Lower level employees. While senior management enjoys their capital appreciation and dividends!!

Quite true. It’s been a very frustrating experience so far in Infy. It should be brought to light how cheap manpower is so badly misused and upper management taking calls that benefit just them and the founders.
