My HR told me WFH is not possible during notice period even if I raise an exception. In this case, what are the consequences I may face if I work from home without informing anyone? Or is it okay for me to WFH during notice period?

Bhai in notice period you’re the 🦁, not the HR. Do Wfh, but to avoid unnecessary hassle I’ll suggest you swipe maybe a couple of days in a week.
