I do agree with him though. Can't build great things without putting in great amounts of work

*when you are building your own
Not working for someone at salary and fixed working hours

You know that when you work for someone you work on yourself too? Do you leave your brains at home and carry another pair at work like Severence?

Lmfao! 😂 You work on yourself when you work on yourself. The goals of the person or company you are working for might not necessarily align with yours. Everyone generally works for more than 70 hours a week if you consider cooking, hitting the gym and upskilling as work. And these need to be considered work because they are necessary for a healthy mind and body.
The CEOs claiming to work 100 hours plus a week don't do chores. They have someone for every task. And that's the only reason they can. Of course, if everyone had the luxury of that, you would have many many more people working 100 hours a week.
What great did he build lol😂

Building a company with 2000Cr revenue is no joke. Easier said than done. You can say the company is in losses and blah blah but you cannot ignore the hard work it takes to build one and the impact it creates.
Not everyone can understand this. Most don’t even have that big of a vision to be able to understand what does it takes to build such a company. That founder mentality is missing in most of us. :)
So will you admire SBF🤔 I admire Tarun Mehta in the industry Bhavish is just cringe pro max of twitter

Working 70 hours a week only helps when you build something of your own in the future after gaining some experience otherwise being a corporate slave and working 70/140 hours doesn’t mean a thing. You’ll forever be a corporate slave.
It is easier for founders to say this coz its there own company at the end of the day. The truth is not everyone can work this hard. And the ones who do, become founders and hire people to fulfil their dream.

Effort leading to more money requires a top 10% brain in the first place. Most people think the 70 hr thing applies to them. it does not. It applies to the folks who wanna be in the top 2% of the income bracket. You can work 70 hours in a corporate (consulting banking etc) or startup (like Flipkart) and earn a chunk of money and invest in great opportunities. Nothing wrong with being a corp slave if it gets u a great lifestyle and builds wealth for you.

Bang on! It’s all about priorities at the end. Any ambitious person will work way more than 70 hours or whatever it takes to fulfil their dreams. On the other hand, a normal person can be happy with a 9-5 decent paying job. Nothing wrong in either of them.

Work hard so your boss can buy Lamborghini every quarter.

Woh Bola 70hr kaam krta hai Aur aap Maan bhi liye?
Had he been hardworking, the grievance and complaints list for Ola S1 is unheeded. Their customer care is shit, service never responds.
Exactly 70hr m kaunse function pe kaam karta hai poochna. Sab dept ki toh lagi padi hai

Ola might be a synonym, but synonym doesn't solve the issues. No availability, rejections (not just 4/5), bad service, bad car conditions & lot more. So, what's more important- to substantially improve whats already there or mad s**t hustle for much more mess?
Even the work culture is pathetic. Innumerable folks have told me. Ultimately, what's the employee gaining?
70hr work badges ? Huh..

Culture wagareh toh bekar hai hi.
Lekin Bhavesh thodi sach bol rh?! The thing about founders is they can bluff all the hard work they do as no one keeps tabs on their time! They can count all their flight times as working hours but If I spend 20min on raising Jira tickets, my manager says I ain't working hard enough!

Don’t go by his social media buffoonery. He needs to show his investors (Ola electric accelerating IPO), he’s working. SoftBank has lost a lot because of him. Believe me this is nothing to motivate or building a company, the guy has history of scratching a vertical and pass it to others for cleaning it.

So, Mr Bhavish here works for 20 hours a day. Sleeps for 3 hours, doesn't eat, doesn't shower. Very proud of you my man.
