14 years in Tech, and I’m still being "managed" by a toddler

I’ve spent over a decade as a PM/Lead Engineer handling high-pressure launches, but the "5 PM Meltdown" at home is more stressful than any P0 production crash I've ever faced.

I know the "gentle parenting" theory, but I lack the muscle memory to use it when I’m tired. So, I built a quick text-based simulator to practice de-escalating common toddler tantrums before they happen.

It’s a work-in-progress, but it’s been helping me stay a bit more calm.

I’d love for some fellow parents in tech to roast the "Toddler Logic" I've programmed:

Feedback I'm looking for:

  1. Does the branching logics and choices seem appropriate or is it too easy/hard?
  2. How do you guys switch from Manager Mode to Parent Mode without losing your mind?
