Trending @Capgemini; 12 days in a month BTO is it mandatory?

Anyone got fired or termination due to avoiding this policy??

not a termination but from my team there was 1 person who did not follow bto from last year and even this year till January so our program manager released the person from the project

If you're on the bench, do not take the risk.
Ideally the rule is to be in the office for 60% of the working days in a month (excluding the leaves, public holidays and weekends). That number usually comes to 11.5 to 12.5 if you've taken no leaves.
But the minimum requirement is 12 days froYm office to avoid any problems.
