100th Layoff round at Unacademy
So again Unacademy has asked people to leave, and asked them to resign.
Leadership is so clueless about what they are doing, they fired 3-4 people whom they had hired a month ago. Imagine the situation 😂
And I don't see this stopping at Unacademy anytime soon
They are aching left, right and centre. Still some people are making advt videos with Sachin.
And the nalla has time to tweet and enjoy vacation, I pity the investors who funded them.

Byju+unacademy has screwed Indian EdTech ecosystem

I just want so badly these BYJUS and Unacademy to fail , we group of friends directly got placed in this company when situation was somewhat bearable after giving them everything, one fine morning we don’t need you anymore that too around festive time , and layoffs were complete random , knew few folks who bootlicked and manged

I wish the whole company just resigns! If only people didn’t have financial constraints and this was a possibility

Contrarian opinion but at this moment we know what to expect when you join Unacademy. So whoever is joining them joins them with these constraints. If you expect the snake to not bite who's the fool

Thank god, I had a round scheduled with Unacademy through some strong referral. Fortunately, it got cancelled

What happened to Cohesive?

Other round of senior level exits
- Jayan Modi - COO online
- 3 CBO’s- all hired in the last 6 months
- Anil Pandey- Head of PG category
- Ranganathan- Head of Jee

The HR is clueless. Approached me for a role saying good fit but didn't discuss with hiring manager. Took details and never came back. BC Bach Gaya chutiyon se
