I went from 6 lpa to 19 lpa at 3 YOE.
Basically just try to get more offers and then negotiate further my first offer was 8,second 10,third 13 and finally 19. You also really need to have good interview feedbacks, The last offer I got was only giving me 16lpa and I rejected them because of relocation but the hiring manager wanted me in their team so they increased it to 19. I had 90 day NP and most of the calls/offer came in last week of my NP.

Went from 4.8 to 19.8 when at 2.8yoe. Preparing for 6 months straight, killing social life, patience, 3 months notice period, multiple offers helped. And most important factor is luck.

Very rarely you get to see 100% Hike in the same company. Mostly it is possible by job switch.
Timing - None. It is now, there is no good time than now if you want to act.
Strategy - Make sure you are technically strong and know your market value for your technology.
Leverage- Your Experience, well designed Resume, preparation for the Interview and ability to have multiple offers in hand to negotiate.

No negotiation, started preparing after my resume got shortlisted. Took around 2 weeks for complete process. I did deep work when preparing. Everything was so easy when thinking now. 🙂
