"100% of the employees would leave TCS if they got a better opportunity". Is this true?

TCS has been laying off people in the name of performance exits. It is not just that but the way they have handled it. They have fired people without any notice and even fired some people who were on leave. In my team this has caused a lot of anger, many of us are planning to quit even my manager.

This company has lost its reputation and trust among its employees now. People are now afraid to work here because they don’t know what will happen next.

If you are working at TCS, then I would suggest that you start looking for another job as soon as possible. There is no guarantee that your job will be safe in the future.

Just to be clear. TCS is not firing anyone on the spot 😂. But doing it indirectly by torturing. Some of my friends experienced it and left the organisation and some are planning to. But the key is you should prepare well on some good technology and have some hands-on. Don't switch otherwise as the job market is heavily competitive nowadays.

The so called 'Job Security' has diminished and most of the TCS er's are not aware of it except the Top Management. RTO , 5 days , less hike are the reasons which are called forced resignations indirectly for now.

Yes it is true indeed but Not just in TCS this will be the case in any other company. If someone gets a better opportunity from the current one then why would they stop switching. Besides that I mostly see a lot of frustrations and grumbling in TCS related posts. I think the coin has both sides! When the employees performance is not met as per the required Metrics then the employer has all deem to take the required steps as per company policy. I hope everyone must recollect signing huge joining formalities including the T&C's. How can all of sudden become a huge concern just becus TCS is asking to come 5days to office. If someone doesn't adhere to RTO compliance why should the company not take disciplinary action?
Remember which ever organization you join this is constant that no company pays salary to it's Employee without getting their job done. All the best for your new career move!

Could you please elaborate performance exits ?

@Howudooinng They are looking at billable utilization and deciding which employees to let go off. If the entire team has low util then manager along with direct reportees are being let go.
