What is Billable and 100% non billable
I was randomly searching in IJP, there it showed 100% non billable for a project.

I have been working on a project for 15 months, but for the past 4 months, status is non-billable. While asking the manager about this, they are saying that management is working on an extension of billability. So my concern is, will this non billabe status impact on future (like gratuity etc.)???

100% non billable means there is no billability from client. However it can also mean they will provide investment. Just cross check once with hiring manager on this context. But Simply Non-Billable means cost is consumed from bench only. Its equal to sitting in free pool.

It could be 2 things -
- Either it is an internal project not related to any client and hence not billable.
- There is no further billability from client and the position could be for a buffer resource for some short term project.
