Trending @Infosys; ✅ 100% asli: Infosys Review

I have worked 1000s of hours with no work life balance. Broke up with my girlfriend TWICE and started having Casual Sex to cope with the pressure.

I have been working with Infy for the last 2 years. I joined as an intern and was later offered a full-time role after completing my internship.

The work here is extremely demanding and stressful. We are expected to work long hours, often exceeding 80+ hours per week. This has led to burnout among many coworkers, including myself. There is little emphasis on work-life balance, and we are constantly pressured to meet unrealistic deadlines.

In addition to the excessive workload, there is also a lack of transparency and communication within the organization. My manager often makes decisions without consulting us and when I asked many people in different teams they said the same thing.

Despite these issues, Infy continues to attract people despite its reputation as a shitty employer. Many employees end up sacrificing their mental and physical health just to appease clients.

I am planning to leave very soon. Let's see.

My manager scolds me when I respond to call that I am outside/driving/eating outside on Saturday or Sunday evenings or on oublic holidays of India. She said, 'What, do you go out every weekend? What do you do? Are ypu married? '

These support projects in Infy are like blood-sucking vampires. I have to respond without hesitation whenever called, and they mostly call directly on my mobile number.

To save myself from committing suicide, I have resigned without having another offer in hand.

If you will listen this much for first time ignore , second time respond in such a sweet way that you manager wouldn't dare you to call on holidays.

And I am just suggesting , as if you are ready to take that much risk of not having the job offer and still resign. Then why are bearing this shitty behaviour of you manager ask her to maintain some boundaries and balance. There is nothing to loose as you are taking that much risk.

In my project people are joining after 3 pm, they work late night with infy manager as he is an onshore guy. Generally I join 10 or 11 am IST and stay till 9 pm ist, still it's not sufficient for manager. I should pick his call at 11 pm IST

I’ve never faced this kind of problem in my 2 years tenure. My manager is very supportive professionally and personally. He’s like a mentor and always takes employee friendly decisions. Even I’m into a support project but i never get calls on weekends all my escalations are borne by my seniors and they are so supportive. I don’t even work beyond 7.5-8 hrs in a day but when there are critical issues I own it and spend time on resolving that rather than them telling me to do it.

What project did you work for? 80 hour week looks like an outlier and not the norm. You should’ve had a REALLY bad manager and you should switch and make a formal complaint.

I’ve been here long enough and spoke to a lot of peers. The worst WLB I found was someone working 11 hours a day - Monday to Saturday and that also was because the entire team switched and two people had to do 5-6 people’s work.
