10% hike on a job switch? Really?
Hello!!!
Need all of your help to understand the current hike scenario while switching the job. I got offered only a 10% hike in a recent job offer. Recruiters give recession as a reason for this offer.
I am a marketer with 7+ years of work experience. How much of a hike can I expect in the current market?
I got the hike of 25% last december. After putting down my papers, they retained me for 60% hike.
Sometimes they’re just using recession as excuse tbh! Find a new one.

My gf is in content writing and she managed to get 50% hike. Has <1 YOE. Don't fall for the recession bs. Negotiate hard.

Got 15% hike. So 10 to 20 is normal these days unlike 30 upwards last year

Which level are you at? How many years of experience and which role?

Sde, 5 years

You need to negotiate. Ask a minimum of 30%. If they don’t agree they pull the BS of you have another offer.
