1 YOE SDE-1 stuck between prep, notice period & market

It’s been a year at my first job (campus hire). Initially things were good, but lately policies + leadership approach have changed, and WLB isn’t great anymore.

I want to switch for same or better pay with better balance, but I’m struggling with:

Out of touch with DSA

90-day notice period

Confusion around expectations for 1 YOE roles

What should I focus on studying (DSA vs system design vs projects)?

When is the right time to start applying with a long NP?

Any tips to handle interviews while still upskilling?
