#1 Mistake of my life was joining Deloitte..
Been here for quite some time now and I have been by far the top performer in my team. Still I am making less money year over year because of crap hikes and inflation. The pathetic hike I get barely makes a dent in the mental trauma that this company is inflicting on me.
Moreover, travelling for hours in the Metro is killing me on the inside. Like being squished between people and getting no seat while I am trying to just switch from Yellow to Magenta line will be the end of me. My life will be spent in this metro and that is so depressing ffs.
My advice to others in Big 4 companies, don't stay at Deloitte for more than 2 years unless you can coast at senior management w/ good pay.
Is this the way they treat you at your companies too?

I think if you share a salary range and your level it would be easy to understand the gap you see in your salary. Rush in a metro is not something Deloitte/any company can solve. It is an infrastructure problem. Maybe once we understand ur expectation we could help

The yellow to magenta line switch is really distressing.
