With the popular Libraries / Frameworks it's very tough to find and get open issues. Meaningful and significant contributions will definitely boost your profile and may open new opportunities but it takes a lot of effort and patience these days.

tried but couldn't succeed, lost motivation. realised it's easier to contribute to new technologies like rust etc
