Trending @Accenture; 0 hike with 14% vp

I shared my one slider performance contribution to my manager as part of the promotion discussions. Now I am surprised not to see a hike in this cycle.

If I was considered for promotion, I’m trying to understand how that aligns with receiving no hike in this cycle.

Can anyone help clarify how those decisions are made?

No one at Accenture has been able to decode what's leads to hike. But one thing which is definitely not a factor is Performance

Promotion depend how your manager present you in moderation call. Based on moderation call output resources are ranked. There is quota given by management at each level. For example If there is 1 quota then 1 resource from entire project at that level will be promoted. You may have given your contribution input to manager but it is up to him/her who he rank first. This time there was lot of quota allocated for CL10 (11-10.
