Trending @Cognizant; 0% assignment

I am a pa. It's been showing 0% assignment in view Assignments from past 2 weeks. Raised gsd and talked to relevant people including pm in that period but no help. Finally, last Friday, pm replies that project can't be extended but a new one will be assigned shortly.

So my questions are, will they really assign project? If anyhow, this phase is linked to termination? If not, will they assign project from the day since I got unassigned as I am not able to fill trutime and timesheet.
