Marriage in the 20's is like a startup investment. The best "idea/proposal"/ or the company thats "most likely" to scale up gets the funding.

Marriage in the 30's is like a listed company. The ones that are profitable and appropriately priced get the professional investors. Smaller fish go after the momentum of what ever is in fad.
