Any onsite will take atleast 6 months to 1 year for all internal approvals, visa approvals and travel approvals. Within this time, the client or manager might say no for the onsite, budget issue, cost cutting, business performance blah blah. If it's US and Canada forgot about it, it will take more than a year.
Yes. US onsites are very very tough to get and crack.
Better to go for UK or middle East onsites

If you are working 70 hr in tcs then join Infy Else if 90 then L&T Else search for some other company.
