If you're looking for nearest-to-fresh Parmesan, Gouda, Emmental, Cheddar etc. head to Steak House. You can also find a number of other imported edibles that you would not find even in Khan Market (for example - Stollen bread). The shop is usually full of non-Indians queuing up to pick up the aforementioned goodies along with "high-end" groceries. Steakhouse has been around for ages and is often tagged as a place for super-rich, Lutyens' Delhi literati. But the shop is really what you want it to be - it can be your weekly grocery store or your monthly gastronomic splurge centre. Keep your eyes open for things you might not find in Delhi, but don't be too surprised when you get your bill!
