Where would you find labels such as Ritu Kumar, Wendell Rodricks, Jason Cheryan and Anshu Arora in the same place? You can also find ethnic wear from Anokhi and the bodycare range of Aly Mathan under the same tiled roof. Not to mention a café with tasty treats too, to allow you to linger longer than you already might have. All of this is in an idyllic, near-heritage residence on Sankey Road just at the Windsor Manor Bridge. I'm talking about Raintree, which houses these designers as well as curio items and other knick knacks for your home such as coasters, bottle openers, vases, urns and the like. There is also a lovely, select collection of art available here, that you can admire even if you are not interested in investing in it. What I especially like about Raintree is its exclusive nature and the appeal of finding some really special pieces browsing through the rooms of a beautiful house. Raintree often hosts exhibitions of art, jewellery or photography in their compound- events to look forward to, believe me!
